- If accepted, choose an Alpha Start Session that works best for you and we'll help you build your idea/business
- After the Alpha Start session we'll help you with marketing and sales to start generating income

What kind of business might you create?
That's up to you! Most cohorts will focus on e-commerce businesses that fall into one of these three categories:
- Service businesses (labor is exchanged for fee).
- Drop shipment businesses (product is manufactured, warehoused, and shipped for you by a third party).
- Physical product businesses (product is manufactured, warehoused, and shipped by you).

Who is Alpha Start for?
Students, staff, faculty, and alumni of CSUDH. Community members may apply, but are subject to space availability.
Program Includes:
- Intensive sessions with hands-on training
- Assistance with product development, branding, pricing, etc.
- All program materials needed. No cost to participants
- Access to resources form the community, partners, and the Innovation Incubator
- Ongoing mentoring and coaching opportunities beyond initial launch phase
